The Grand Départ in Vendée is a fact now. The Grand Start of the 2018 Tour, July 7th, will take place, and it is becoming a habit, in Vendée. The department, the great land of cycling, will welcome its sixth start on the island of Noirmoutier. The runners will take a 5.3 km parade through the salt marshes, and will join the continent via the Noirmoutier bridge.
